Abstract

The article explores the relationship between corporate governance and corporate social responsibility. The corporate social responsibility model has emerged strongly as a policy popular with many US and Western European corporations. German multinationals practices prove a more positive public image, enhances profitability model, and shows the benefits of corporate investments in the society. The aim of article is to review the factors affecting on the development of corporate social responsibility and proposes the adjustment measures to encourage the adoption of corporate social responsibility practices in Ukraine. This paper makes an attempt to review the literature addressing corporate governance and corporate social responsibility, and the roles of various institutions, including media, NGOs, and mechanisms.
