Abstract
This systematic research aims to clarify the complex relationship between retirees' entrepreneurship ambitions and
direction at a time when retirement dynamics are changing. Our study, which is based on a thorough analysis of the
literature already in existence, aims to clarify the variables driving this association and their wider ramifications. We
traverse the nexus between education, entrepreneurial training, and important factors through a thorough
investigation, providing insightful information to individuals, organizations, politicians, and educators. reputable
databases were meticulously examined in compliance with the stringent requirements, including Google Scholar,
Semantic Scholar, Web of Science, and Scopus. PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and MetaAnalysis) criteria. A total of 106 pertinent articles from 2013 to 2023 were found through the search. After a
comprehensive evaluation, 26 papers pertinent to the subject matter were identified. The results show a
continuous relationship between seniors' entrepreneurship orientation and intentions. Notably, the relationship's
contours are shaped by education and entrepreneurial training, which are significant influences. The confidence
levels, financial capacities, attitudes, perceived financial gains, government policies, and risk tolerance of pensioners
are important drivers. This thorough study offers a model and practical suggestions for decision-makers, educators,
organizations, individuals, and the larger research community in addition to adding insightful new information to the
academic conversation on pensioner entrepreneurship.
